Well, I officially can't CG anymore for the time being. I got a new computer 'cause my old one crashed, so now I've got a Mac and Windows Vista. Deleter doesn't work with either of 'em. Woe is meee... And photoshop, painter, and all the rest are so damned expensive.

...

Pity me.

If your life was a movie...

IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?

Here's how it works:

1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, WMP, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on "Shuffle."
3. Press "Play."
4. For every question, type the song that's playing.
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button.
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool...cuz that's just so..uncool... o-o

Opening Credits
Andy, You're a Star-The Killers (Makes no sense already. Who's Andy? Am I Andy? Wtf.)

Waking Up
Nyappy in the World-Antic Cafe (Well, at least it's peppy, but it feels like my life is only halfway dubbed...)

First Day At School
Run Like Hell-Rock Kills Kid (Title kind of makes sense in context, I guess.)

Making Your New Best Friend
Boulevard of Broken Dreams-Green Day (Why the heck is that even in my playlist? Ick. And it makes no sense, anyway.)

Falling In Love
There's a Good Reason These Tables are Numbered, Honey, You Just Haven't Thought of It Yet-Panic at the Disco (Makes... no... sense...)

Breaking Up
Ice Cream-Sarah McLaughlin (Wait, if I love them so much, why am I breaking up with them?!)

Prom
Nails for Breakfast, Tacks for Snacks-Panic at the Disco (Why did I break up with my boyfriend before prom?)

Graduation
Fake Wings-Yuki Kajiura (What?! Geebus, I'm gonna fire whoever it was that picked the songs for this movie...)

Life's Okay
Le Disko-Shiny Toy Guns (Makes me sound like a pole dancer... I guess life would be good if you really liked pole dancing.)

Death of a Close Friend
Intro-The GazettE (Eh... what? So they're going to be playing creepy techno with a man muttering in Japanese in the background of my friend's funeral?!)

Mental Breakdown
Midnight Show-The Killers (Well, it's definitely a mental breakdown, seeing as it's about murder...)

Driving
Camisado-Panic at the Disco (What's with all the PatD? And I must have crashed my car...)

Flashback
Paralyzed-Rock Kills Kid (Um... It must have been a rather traumatizing flashback.)

Getting Back Together
Starts With One-Shiny Toy Guns

Wedding Scene
Fear-Sarah McLaughlin (What?!?!)

Birth of Child
Who Am I?-Les Miserables soundtrack (I'M JEAN VAAAALJEEEEAAAAAN!)

Car Accident
The Highwayman-Loreena McKennitt (Haha... Apparently I had a sword and got shot.)

Final Battle
One Short Day-Wicked soundtrack (Hahahahaha... No sense makes it.)

Death Scene
Master of the House-Les Miserables soundtrack (Did I get killed by a rabid, penny-pinching innkeeper?!)

Funeral Song
Viva Viva Bebop-Miyavi (Is everybody HAPPY that I'm dead?!?!)

End Credits
Adia-Sarah McLaughlin (First my name is Andy, now my name is Adia. I give up.)

I think I need an aspirin.

(This list makes my musical taste seem really bad... it's not, I promise. A lot of this is my sister's. xD)

Updating just to prove I'm not dead.

So there you have it. I'm still breathing (most of the time), and I'm still talking. Woohooo.

I've been drawing, I promise. I'll get something up... eventually. Not that I think anybody's stalking me or anything. I'm just promising myself that I'll stop being lazy for a little while and do something productive.

I wish I had a subscription. I think I'd be a happier camper.

End of semester, huzzah! Absolutely no homework this weekend, so I'll definitely have something up by tuesday. Maybe. Sheeesh.

The devART Cold War

Fri Nov 23, 2007, 9:50 AM
  • Mood: Irritated
  • Listening to: The Smiths-"How Soon Is Now"
  • Reading: Comments
  • Watching: My siblings and cousins play video games

I suppose it was really only a matter of time.

And so, a couple of DeviantART superpowers have picked a fight with one another, and have now built their respective camps full of their respective supporters while the nuclear comment arsenal builds.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, well... Sorreh. I don't like to mention names. It goes against my policy, see? Maybe I should just pull a 'Dear Abby' and use little pseudonyms.

Anyway.

"Fanart suxx0rz lolz!!11oneone"

"Ur mom suxx0rz lolz!!11oneone"

I don't really care who started it, only that people are being silly. It's art, people. Get over thineselves. Oy, vey. Gracious, people, let's at least try to retain some semblance of sophistication rather than starting a "u suxx0rz" war.

And this has been my thought of the day. =3

Think, think, think...

Ever think it might be nice to be a fish? Fish don't have jobs, responsibilities, taxes, mortages on their fishbowls...anxiety attacks. If one of their kids gets eaten, they're like, "hey, I got like four million more where that came from!"

Chew on that logic for a little while.

Or rather, don't. Fish get eaten and die at the first sign of a temperature change. I mean, really, it would suck to walk out your door, realize it's two degrees colder than yesterday, and then pitch over backwards, stare into oblivion, and die.

...I'm really, really tired. Please pay no mind to my thought process at this moment. >.>; I've been slouching around all day (except for the ten minutes of nerve-shattering panic when my little brother didn't come back from collecting tennis balls and I ran around the neighborhood screaming like the damned and asking the neighbors if they'd seen him, only to realize that he'd actually been inside sitting in a cardboard box).

I'm out of paper.

'Till later,
Peppermint
